The Celtic Year - The Dawning Time
This runs from Imbolc to Beltane 1st May. Its important time is when hens lays their eggs again around the Spring Equinox; the first of these eggs are offered to the Goddess Ostara. The Easter bunny is a modern day substitute for the March Hare which was scared to the Goddess/ The Dawning is as good time for a new start, to encourage new projects and to move house. The day before Beltane - 30th April marks the beginning of the Celtic summer when couples would covert in feels and have sex to encourage the crops to grow.
