The Deities

The more accustomed you become to casting love spells and making spells the more you will begin to appreciate the power of the deities. Many of us probably subscribe to the belief that there is one God, we cannot help but marvel at the complexity of the energy and powers that go into making up that enmity. For this reason it is sometimes more comforting to be able to approach that complexity in the way our forefathers did - with reverence for a particular aspect. We do this when we call upon the various deities during a spell casting.

Most religions pay due attention to the masculine and feminine polarities. If you choose to personalise those polarities you will no doubt find comfort and nurturing in so doing. Indeed, in many ways that personalisation of the energy is one of the prime functions of working with the deities. It allows us to feel close to something that is otherwise intangible; to feel that we are in touch with another dimension of being that is wiser and more powerful than ourselves.
