Fate & Karma
Fate, karma and freewill? No one can prove things are destined or that we do have freewill. I always say, yes magic controls people, but human beings do that too, we are all constantly trying to talk someone into something, or influence another eg if you want to go to a party and your friend doesn't, you'll try to talk her into it - maybe even bribe her if you are desperate.
On the other side of the coin, we are all controlled, we follow fashions, do things to please another etc.
If you saw someone about to commit suicide, you would override his freewill, you would do everything in your power to stop him, and if it meant lying and tricking him you would, you would feel that is right.
